Resources

There are a range of resources available for small businesses to use to identify potential reductions, calculate, monitor and record savings made. Following is a list of free resources you can use.

Business Environmental Footprint Checklist

The Business Environmental Footprint Checklist is available to all businesses.

This Checklist is used by businesses in our workshops. It will be able to assist you with identifying potential savings to reduce your business footprint.

To use the Checklist, answer Yes or No if you have done or have not done the listed actions. The actions where you have answered No then forms the basis of activities to be included into your Business Environment Action Plan.

You may also need to consider:

  • What resources you will need to implement the action, such as:
    • Staff – Who will implement the changes?
    • Money – What budget is available and how long before costs are recovered?
  • Timeline to implement – major priorities to be completed first
    • Monitoring activity – monitor and identify savings made

The Checklist is designed to prompt you about measures you can take in your business. To find out more please consider attending one of our many workshops being held through the region.
